Every day there is a new surprising event in the cryptocurrency world.

A cryptocurrency bot that recently capitalized on an arbitrage opportunity and made $1 million in profits was targeted by hackers within the same hour and lost all its earnings.

Robert Miller of research firm Flashbots explained how the bot made 800 Ethereum, or about $1 million, through arbitrage.

According to Miller, the arbitrage bot spotted and took advantage of an arbitrage opportunity on Uniswap for just $500 for $1.8 million.

However, after this transaction, the hacker, who detected a vulnerability in the arbitrage bot’s code, exploited this vulnerability and seized 1,101 ETH worth $1.4 million from the arbitrage bot.
